Time planning
Have you ever wondered when you would have the time to write? When it's either kids, school, work, or even other priorities, everyone has that problem. Below are a few tips;
Every time is writing time.
Carry around a pencil/ pen and some type of notebook, even if it is a small little notepad that works, and whenever you have a moment write. If and idea comes to you, write. Anytime of the day is a perfect time for writing. Watching the kids? Sit them down with paper and coloring supplies and sit with them and write. At work? Write while you eat, on break, heck! Even while you work if you can. For those who are in school and think that there is no time, well think again. If your teacher gives you a little free time then go ahead and write. Write in lunch, study halls, just never get in trouble and have your teacher take it away!
That one time.
Don't believe that every time is writing time? Then dedicate a time for writing. It can be early in the morning, during lunch, or even late at night. Put aside at least half an hour to an hour just for writing, outlines and even bios' for characters, if writing a story. Wake up a little earlier than usual and write, take time during lunch, even a little time before bed. It doesn't always have to be at the same time. Have an hour a day and split the times through out the day. Even go on a schedule write every other day or wake up a little earlier one day and write during lunch the next day.
Push and work with it through.
So don't want to take a pen/pencil and a notebook? Don't want to dedicate a time for writing? Then just push through the busyness and just work with it. Work with your schedule, work with the busyness. Go for it and write your heart away. If writing is your passion, well then busyness shouldn't matter, it should work with pushing through it, working with it. You love writing, then go with it.
